This world map, a print based on an original Famille Summerbelle hand papercut, would be an amazing centerpiece in a kids room or nursery. Love it.

I love this minimal, and actually quite accessible bedroom. The bamboo screen/headboard and the pendant lamps are ikea. See more pictures and all the credits at poppytalk: Inspiration: White + Rattan.
Oh my. The Acapulco Chair.
Really smart shoebox design by Fuse Project for Puma - uses 65% less cardboard, no tissue, and can be re-used. That’s what I like to see.

Sweetest little honey jar. The logo and tag are a little too sweet for me, but I do love that little bee-jar.

Tom, of the awesome blog Archival Clothing has put together this strange and wonderful Flickr set of vintage garment tags. You never know when this could come in handy.
So gorgeous in a Barbarella kind of way. Love it.

Every other design blogger seemed to get all flippin excited about these. Which I ABSOLUTELY did not understand. Hideous waste of a die-cut if you ask me. This, however, is smart, useful design. I approve.

Yes, lets!

The man and I were eaten alive by a mosquito the other night. Getting a bite in the middle of the night sets off this series of events: I jump out of bed, run cold water over my burning bites, turn the house upside down looking for benadryl lotion, then grab a magazine and turn on all the lights armed to kill the sadistic little flying fuck.
I could stop the madness and start the romance with a gorgeous, simple, non-foofy, non-princessy, 4 poster platform bed with a mosquito net.

Hell yeah gourd speakers. Why didn’t I think of this? Want. Now.
I like to think that I’m a great DIY-er, but truth be told, I seldom do DIM. And quilting seems to be on the very high end of motivated DIY-ing, so I probably won’t ever make use of this Single Girl Quilt pattern by Denyse Schmidt. But I do covet it.
ps- Found via the now defunct yet still loved loved Blueprint. I’m going through all my old blueprints and their online archives and I’m finding them as inspirational and relevant now as they ever were.
