The man and I were eaten alive by a mosquito the other night. Getting a bite in the middle of the night sets off this series of events: I jump out of bed, run cold water over my burning bites, turn the house upside down looking for benadryl lotion, then grab a magazine and turn on all the lights armed to kill the sadistic little flying fuck.
I could stop the madness and start the romance with a gorgeous, simple, non-foofy, non-princessy, 4 poster platform bed with a mosquito net.

I like to think that I’m a great DIY-er, but truth be told, I seldom do DIM. And quilting seems to be on the very high end of motivated DIY-ing, so I probably won’t ever make use of this Single Girl Quilt pattern by Denyse Schmidt. But I do covet it.
